Characteristics
Upright growing shrub with dark glossy foliage and large mauve/pink flowers. It grows to approximately 2m tall and 1m across. Flowering occurs in late spring and lasts for about four weeks.
Cultivation
Highly ornamental shrub. Suitable for most soil types. Best in a sunny site but will tolerate some shade. Frost resistant to -6C. Responds well to pruning.
