Characteristics
A dwarf rounded shrub to 1m red flowers in late spring. Distinctiveness: The closest comparator is Leptospermum 'Outrageous' is a medium to tall shrub with drooping branches and grows to approximately 2m tall by 1.5m across. with deep red flowers which occur in spring.
Cultivation
Highly ornamental shrub. Suitable for most soil types. Best in a sunny site but will tolerate some shade. Frost resistant to -6C. Responds well to pruning.
