- Characteristics
- A medium to tall upright shrub with light green foliage. In spring it is covered in masses of bright purple/red flowers. Plants grow approximately 2m high by 1.5m across. A hardy shrub suited to most positions. Prefers full sun or part shade.
- Cultivation
- Highly ornamental shrub. Suitable for most soil types. Best in a sunny site but will tolerate some shade. Frost resistant to -6C. Responds well to pruning.
