- Chance seedling in garden of Tom Loffler at Waikerie in the early 1980s, under a plant of E maculata ssp. brevifolia.
- Characteristics
- Dense upright shrub, 2m (h) x 1.5m-2m (w), leaves: grey-green, flowers: buds - orange, petals - pink, 25-30mm x 10mm on a long pedicel. Flowers year round with a burst in spring and after rain. Thought to be a hybrid between Eremophila maculata ssp brevifolia x E. racemosa. White hairs in the corolla throat are prominent and distinctive.
- Cultivation
- Eremophila ‘Fairy Floss’ flowers year round. It responds well to pruning which makes it an attractive dense shrub with spectacular flowering displays. It has been propagated vegetatively through several generations and is frost hardy.
