- Origin
- Bred and developed by King’s Park & Botanic Garden. This variety is a hybrid between the white bell-flowered form of Boronia heterophylla known as ‘Moonglow’ and B. megastigma, the famous highly fragrant brown and yellow-flowered species from the south-west of Western Australia.
- Characteristics
- Tall shrub 1-5-2m (h) 1-1.5m(w) features masses of plum colour bell-shape flowers in early Spring with slender aromatic leaves.
- Cultivation
- Prefers positioning in full sun or part shade in moist, neutral to acidic free draining soils. Boronias benefit from supplementary watering during hot dry periods. Lightly prune after flowering. Tolerant of moderate frost.
