In 2015 a single seedling growing amongst other seedlings which were grown from the seed collected in 2014, was discovered to have narrow dark green leaves with a distinct waviness together with intense dark purple red new growth. This seedling also retained this purple coloration for a much longer period than is usual for coloration of new growth. The seedling like its siblings and parent was also found to be resistant to Psyllid attack.
