- Open-pollinated seedling selection: Several differing seedlings from Syzygium australe appeared in 1996. Cuttings were taken from these and grown on to determine uniformity and distinctness. Selection criteria: new growth colour, plant habit.
- Characteristics
- Displays shiny orange red new growth. Medium to large shrub to around 4 metres flowers white with pink elongated fruit.
- Cultivation
- Fast growing. Best in well drained soils in full sun or part shade. Easily prunes to shape. Very vigorous.
