- Open pollination. Product of several generations of hybrids. The original hand pollination was carried out between Xerochrysum sp ‘Blackfellows Gap’ and Xerochrysum bracteanthum in 1994. Later open pollination occurred with unprotected seed packet varieties and selections made in 1996 -7. Selection criteria: radical growth, single flowers on long stems, bright colour. - Characteristics
- Small herbaceous shrub around 0.5m in diameter. Masses of large yellow daisy flowers in Spring, Summer and Autumn.
- Cultivation
- Best in moist loamy soils. Responds well to pruning which makes it a dense shrub with spectacular flowering displays. Best in full sun but will tolerate some shade.
