Open pollination. Presumed parent Grevillea bipinnatifida Grevillea aurea?. Open-pollination followed by seedling selection: seed parent Grevillea bipinnatifida x pollen parent possibly Grevillea aurea in Golden beach. PBR Status: Granted: 21-Sep-2005
Characteristics
Low spreading shrub similar with greyish foliage. Large red flowers throughout the year. Distinctiveness: The closest comparator ‘Robyn Gordon’ has similar colour flower but ‘Molly’ has distinctly yellow stigma compared to red stigma of ‘Robyn Gordon’. Similarly flower colour of ‘Molly’ is red and that of ‘Superb’ is apricot.
Cultivation
Performs best in an open to semi-shaded situation in well-drained soils. Severe frosts may burn the softer new growth, but mild frosts are tolerated. It responds well to pruning.
