- A selection from a seed germination event. Spontaneous mutation: seed parent normal Acmena smithii. This variegated seedling was chosen from a batch of normal seedlings raised in 2001 at Dales Tubestock Nursery, Landsborough, QLD. Selection criteria: red/purple colour of the variegated young leaves. PBR Status: Granted: 18-Dec-2006 Terminated: 16-Feb-2011
