Characteristics
Upright, bushy, evergreen small tree. Leaves: opposite, trifoliate, flat, waxy. Leaflets: length medium (mean 61.97mm), width medium (mean 15.96mm), shape elliptic, apex acute (point rounded), base oblique-attenuate, upper surface dark green, lower surface lighter green, margin serrated, colour of new growth orange-red with a green midrib. Flowers: small, creamy white in terminal panicles. Sepals: 4-5 broadly obovate, sepal-circle mean diameter 19.65mm, white at first flower (Nov), ripening (mid Dec) to orange-red (RHS 180B) on inside of sepal and orange-red. Selected for its striking, dark green foliage, and superior fruit size, colour and density
