Origin
Grevillea ‘Sharon’s Gold’ came from a variegated sport which arose on a Grevillea ‘Firesprite’ plant growing in Noel and Sharon Cartright’s garden in Grenfell, NSW.
Characteristics
Moderately dense shrub, 3m (h) x 2m (w) Flowers: Red Foliage colour: Variegated Comparators: Grevillea ‘Firesprite’ Reasons for distinctiveness: It was propagated vegetatively and has maintained the variegation in all plants which have been produced from the original and through several generations and is identical to Grevillea ‘Firesprite’ in all other respects.
Cultivation
Suitable for well drained soils. Best in a sunny site but will tolerate some shade. Frost resistant to -6C. Responds well to pruning.
