- This cultivar was selected in the nursery of the Shire of Flinders at Rosebud on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria in 1992. It is a form of Dianella longifolia. Registration was sought by Gregory Powell, P.O. Box 298, Sorrento, Victoria 3943 in April 1992.
- Characteristics
- This cultivar is like the species. It grows to 0.3m - 0.8m x 0.5m. Flowers appear from November to March and are pale blue. It has high tolerance to both drought and frost. Diagnosis: The distinguishing feature of this cultivar is the variegated leaves.
- Cultivation
- A hardy and long-lived plant, it is adaptable to most soils but prefers a protected partially shaded position. It should be propagated by division.
