- Origin
- Boronia 'Rose Blossom' was selected by Mr Peter Ellis of Bendigo, Victoria from Boronia pilosa material collected near Mt Richmond National Park in Victoria and introduced to horticulture in 1979 by Park Native Nurseries. The cultivar was first received by the Authority in August 1984. Registration applied for by Plant Growers Australia Pty Ltd, 29 Knees Road, Park Orchards 3114.
- Characteristics
- This cultivar grows to 0.6m tall by 0.6m wide and is very dense. The flowers are double and deep pink in colour. The flowering period is from late winter to spring in Melbourne. Diagnosis: The cultivar can be distinguished by the double flowers and its noticeably denser growth habit.
